we look at the world through the protagonist’s eyes and it’s an outlook i have personally never felt familiar with. whenever he would ask to explain a feeling i would a lot of times find myself at a loss for words honestly, which just goes to show the things we really do take for granted.
i throughly enjoyed this and read it quicker than anything i have ever read so far because it kept making me want to come back. the hopeful ending and the path Yunjae has been on have been eye opening in many ways.
the author’s note was the nail in the coffin however. as someone who has such a loving mother by my side who has made so many sacrifices for people around her and for me especially, seeing that another mother has the same type of opinion (i guess is the word) on love makes my heart ache. loving mothers are my favorite people in the world and i hope the author and her daughter are happy and healthy together.
