A book seemingly made as middle grade fantasy but delves into deeper themes that even has adults thinking. About how the "grown ups" should've taken responsibility where they should've but they didn't and the responsibility unfairly falls on a kid.

"If you give them a medal, then you don’t ever have to ask why the terrible thing happened in the first place. Or try to fix it."

Overall, a fun read and leaves you thinking.
