I loved it, I didn't realize when this was written in 1999, the author was only 14, never would I have guessed, it read as an adult novel, minus the sex but the writing was good. I will be picking up the next one as I understand there are quite a few books in this series. As long as the story stays good, I will continue on with it. What a wonderful example for kids that aspire to be authors
