While the first book was well-written with a mystery unravelling around our main character Bri but ultimately more show than tell, this book is its twin. Dragging its feet towards the finish line with all the speed of a turtle. I liked the book well enough, but the writing sort of fell flat. Just like the other two books I've read by her. Not awful, won't mind reading it again, but it doesn't stick with you, unfortunately.
