Did not finish book. Stopped at 14%.

I just couldn't get into this. The way she writes is a no from me. She just comes off like she's writing like she's observing things in a detached way but doesn't make it interesting. She comes off condescending too like she knows how things are and how they should be and she's getting to the real but doesn't actually get to the real at any point. I don't know she just comes off condescending and elitist with her writing and I liked the year of magical thinking but I think it was because I could get the stream of consciousness because of what I had gone through with losing my family member. But this. This stream of consciousness was just a bunch of words thrown together.
