The Favor by Suzanne Wright

 *Audiobook Review*

This is the first book I've read by the author and I really enjoyed it.

This is told in single 1st person POV with a solo female narrator and i enjoyed the narration. The narrator did a really good job protraying the different character personalities, conveying all the emotions the characters were feeling, and differentiating the male voices.

I love how the book started with a snippet of the future. It got me invested in the story early. I liked the chemistry and the banter between the main characters. Dane is a tourtured hero, which i love, but he was a bit too cold for my liking. There wasn't as much tension as there could have been because he rarely showed his feelings. The family drama added depth to the story. I loved the mental health rep in this book. I wasn't the usual depression/anxiety/ptsd rep and i found that refreshing. I loved that vienna was such as bad ass and didn't let anyone push her around, including Dane. I love how protective he was of her from the beggining. The spice was good too.
