Some really cool magic and a horse mech that reminds me of Zero Horizon Dawn. It gave post apocalyptic and steampunk and fantasy all mashed together.
I thought the overarching plot line was interesting, but not as well fleshed out as I would have preferred. I understood very little about the goddess the temple was dedicated, or the evil forces in the book. More detail would have gone a long way.
The FMC I liked. Her personality was fun and sassy, but it didn’t seem to fit the mood and setting of the book very well. She felt too modern almost.
The end of the book? Incredible. Bonkers craziness. Absolute anarchy. Very entertaining ending. I wanted more of that throughout the book. The drama was so good.
Essentially a very smutty book with an evil demon threat throughout the book. Junk food in book form - entertaining.
