Julie of the Wolves
by Jean Craighead George
Children's Fiction, Adventure
Ok I read this in 5th grade and idk if I remember right but it’s about a girl who gets lost and she has to survive and she befriended a wolf pack and eventually she got back home. the only detail I can remember is in the beginning she made a comment about how she hadn’t eaten in so long her cheeks were starting to look hollow like a models. I was never sure what that met but I think it probably contributed to my issues lol anyways I liked it though. I have a very vivid memory of reading that while sitting in the corner of my 5th grade classroom.
I do remember loving this book and I think it was a really sweet story.
