Best Man with Benefits by Samanthe Beck

See I was really liking this book with its spicy scenes and funny moments until we started finishing the character arcs in what is supposed to be a week long time span. I don't buy falling head over heels in anything but lust during a few day time span. I could see an I like you a lot and want to know you better in the feelings department but let's talk reality here, if you went to a destination wedding and your week long hookup started professing his undying love for you at the end of the week you'd be getting him the number of a good shrink, not your home address because that's a whole lot of insane right there. You don't conquer life long body insecurity issues in a night because you had mirror sex either. And the idea that you could restructure your company in the course of a short conference call is downright ridiculous. It's obvious that I have a soft spot for romance based on how much of it I read but I just wish some of it could be a bit more realistic with a halfway believable timeline. If you don't mind instalove it's a decent book, interesting characters and spicy scenes. If instalove makes you worry that teen girls checking out romances from the public library might be using this as a guideline for what real romantic emotions are like and that scares the hell out of you this one might be skippable. (I happen to fall in the latter category)
