i just did not vibe with this book at all. first of all it did not need to be this long--the story could have easily been wrapped up in half the pages. second of all there was absolutely too much of rob just telling me what was happening instead of things being shown through the writing/through the his pov. THIRD OF ALL i HAAAAAATED the """"romance"""" plots both the whole thing with rosalind (which *barf*) and rob spending the whole book being like it's NOT like that with cassie only for it to....be like that??? LASTLYYYY nothing gets resolved when it comes to rob's original kidnapping? is it because it's supposed to be a series? because i think a stronger plot would've been the two murders being linked instead of the whole psychopath rosalind storyline which was infuriating. sorry to my friends who liked this book but like...why.
