Death Of A Salesman by Arthur Miller

3.0

Death of a Salesman is a tragic tale of unrealised dreams, unmet expectations and withering relationships. Our protagonist Willy always had his hopes pined on the American Dream. Struggling to make ends meet, he never stopped winding up his sons and having larger-than-life dreams for them!

But when they end up being miserable, when the unimpressive people lead wonderful lives, he gets sick and deranged. He's often found talking to himself and keeps asking "What is the secret to it all?"

Miller shifts the narrative between the past and present and helps us understand why the characters ended up so. It's so well done, with all the details, I could visualise the play infront of my eyes!
