Not sure if I'll continue on with this series.

I liked the main character and her quirky best friend, they have a genuine friendship that felt very real.

The story does move slow, not a whole lot happens.

When I began reading this I thought the girls were in middle school based on the way they are drawn and the way they act.  Only to figure out they are actually In high school and getting ready for their college entrance exams.

There's a slightly uncomfortable subplot of our main character having a crush on her teacher.  While nothing unusual about that in and of itself, she ends up going to her teachers home and hanging out with him. He makes a few jokes(or are they?) about how they can be more than friends after she graduates and right after she leaves he remarks how he needs to watch porn now.

There are some good insights and philosophical comments made about life that I really liked.

But is it enough to make me want to continue?  Not sure.
