challenging hopeful reflective medium-paced

As someone who focused similarly in my 20s on myself, believing that reducing emotion, reactiveness and internalizing was a way to move forward, I have gone on a journey during my 30s. Primarily I have been asking what I wanted from relationships (not just romantic, but colleagues, friends, community) and how I wanted to conduct myself as part of something bigger. In addition to a few books around behavior, psychology and community, this seemed a timely read of how we can impact so many others through our own actions and how those flow outward. I was unaware of what the book held but had read a few of Ryan's prior books, so trusted that there would be plenty to discern and apply, and that was right! Along with fun tidbits of history by great and challenged characters, we can see where the applications will serve us for a better future. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the read.
