The Story of the Lost Child by Elena Ferrante

5.0

I’m not sure I can accurately state what these books meant to me. The story is a brutal dissection of long term, close friendship. Its honesty is unparalleled. Throughout the whole story, the careful and deliberate laying-bare of emotions stirred in me, many times, feelings that I’ve had during my life, without know I really had them or how to describe them.

I loved everything about this story, and I’m devastated that it’s over.
