Three of Hearts by Lillian Lark

3.0

I'm normally super into Lillian Larks books. This one was a little less great for me.

For most of the book, I don't get much of a sense that Asa is very (romantically) into Zeph. More that she is a means of keeping Greg and Himself together.
In general, it felt very much like Greg and Asa were in love and that Zaph was just in there because Greg's wolf saw her as someone it could dominate, that she was needed rather than wanted.

One thing that I didn't like was when Zeph had been distraught the whole morning thinking Asa had left the triad, only for Greg and Asa to have sex while she was (as far as they knew) upset outside. It seemed a bit mean considering. I understand that a scene where Greg claimed Asa was needed, but the timing seemed very poor.

I loved the look into Harpy culture and the things Zeph was giving up to have a life with her mates.

I'm hoping to see more of it in the next book
