After Itsuki and Tsugumi tried several times to get pregnant, they just couldn’t; but they still wanted a family so adoption was their second option.

Apparently legal adoption is not as common in Japan, thus they’ll have to overcome this new challenge. Itsuki is worried he might not be fit for it but the people at charge say his disability has nothing to do with but the fact that they will be able to take care of someone else.

In these few chapters we see them make amends in this new life and trying hard to be the best option for a newborn who also needs a family. Itsuki even takes a break from work so he can be the one to be with the baby once they’re called –giving Tsugumi a chance to keep building her career.

By the end of the volume (and a couple of years have passed, I think), they finally become parents to a little yet cute child and they welcome him in their family, reminding us that it doesn’t matter how, a family should be the place where we feel loved and protected. Once again I cried happy tears ‘cause they deserve nothing but the best.

Last but not least, we have a chapter focused on Koreda and his new life. He has slowly moved on from his feelings towards Tsugumi and now his present is looking bright since he’s kinda dating a girl who wants to be a model despite her not having a lower limb. And I must say I’m absolutely happy for him –he was a nice guy and I still wanted to see him get his own share of happiness.

This volume contains chapter 50 – 54.
