All the Colours of Night by Jayne Ann Krentz

3.0

All the Colours of Night is the second book in the Fogg Lake trilogy. While I enjoyed the story, it's not my favourite from this author. The main characters were likeable and the romance was fine, but it didn't blow me away either. I would have also loved to spend more time in Fogg Lake, which is filled with fun and quirky characters I want to get to know.

One of my favourite aspects of the this series (and previous ones) is how the author continues to expand her world. These book focus on people who have psychic abilities. I like the idea of a secret world within our own filled with people and societies who have psychic abilities and technology and use them to investigate crime and help people.

I do love the over arcing world and plot that Ms. Krentz is weaving through the series, even if the more immediate plot of this story didn't really do anything for me. Overall this was an enjoyable book to read for my Sunday afternoon and I am looking forward to the finale book to see where the over arcing plot goes. Ms Krentz is still a favourite auto buy author, this story just didn't hit as strongly as alot of her others have for me.
