I meant to pick up this book this week, but after another book I stare. Then I decided, I  need something light and easy.

Whilst definitely what I'd call an easy read, seeing as the pages went by in a blur and I only put it down to eat dinner and walk my dog, it wasn't light.

I absolutely loved One Last Stop when I read it, but I honestly think this is a better book. It feels more true. The heartache, the pain, and the absolute adoration is just so real, and honest.

In the acknowledgments, McQuiston says she wrote this to escape the hell 2016 became, and honestly, for me, it was an escape from the hell the last six years have been.

And as a bisexual who never really realized it until people told them, it felt really true. Also, as someone who wants some kind of fame, it makes me love the privacy I have as not being famous.

I devoured this book, and I get why everyone recommends it.
