A DNF which is so disappointing cause I was OBSESSED with the first book and was counting down the days for this one. There was some romance aspects in the first book but it took a hard turn and it’s all I’m getting in this one. I miss the spooky, gothic, apothecary vibes. She lost me at Deaths jaw line still cutting through even when he’s a shadow. I cannot
