Black Seconds by Karin Fossum

4.0

Good detective mystery crime novel. You knew who was going to be charged fairly early on in the book but it was interesting to see how the Detective would put the pieces together. It sort of reminded me of Columbo tossed with a bit of British refinery in which the police respect the citizens, including those who they have to interrogate, and give thought to the lives that have led to the circumstances they find themselves in. Nicely done

This is the 6th in the Inspector Konrad Sejer series. When I first heard about this book I didn't realize it was a part of a series. The book stands nicely on its own. I will definitely read the others in the series now that I know how well Fossum writes.
