I enjoyed this about as much as the rest of the folk of the air series. But I was really happy when I found out it was a duology because I don’t think I could handle another trilogy.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the writing and the way the story works within the more traditional (at least traditional to me???) “fae under a hill” idea. I like the word play and I think the slower pace works with this type of a story…it’s just a lot.
I love Surren and I love the concept of the story. I will read the next book to find out how it all wraps up, and maybe for a cameo of Jude????
So yea, this is like a 3.5 for me. It’s enjoyable but I wouldn’t recommend this series to everyone, just some people.
