this was such a cute read! I’ve never laughed so much at a book before. the characters were flawed & lovable, their relationship & mutual respect was heartwarming, & the plot was entertaining & sweet. were the scenes cheesy? sometimes. corny? maybe. but I loved it & it’s just an overall amazing feel-good book. not to mention the descriptive & steamy sex scenes (although, sometimes it felt like their relationship was only built on sexual tension, but I know a main plot point is Olivia & Margot both being scared that the other didn’t want anything more).
however, something about the way it was written felt unpolished. I caught at least 5 spelling mistakes (eg. “her shook his head.”). also, I noticed adjectives & phrases repeating closely together, like only a page apart. nothing detrimental, but I’m not sure how this was glossed over during editing.
regardless, I loved the book & would 100% recommend it to anyone who’s a sucker for romance so sweet, it’d give you a toothache.
(p.s. although the book is part of a trilogy, it acts as a standalone. you won’t need to read the previous books to understand anything.)
~ ★★★★☆ (4.5)

“she said we're just friends,
but now I'm frustrated with her,
‘cause she sends me naked pictures
& she said she thinks about me
when she's touching herself.” ♬
