Five Gifts for the Blacksmith's Wife by Lyonne Riley

5.0

a few things you need to know about this book
- he talks her through it
- they're so cute and cosy that I think eating glass shards would have hurt less
- he's a BIG boi

truly, its not a lyonne book unless the miscommunication makes you want to clink their heads together several times throughout the book. Despite their dummy actions I genuinely loved these two so much (do those words even have meaning with how often I say them in my reviews???) Gurrek comes off as grumpy and mean at first, having a wife thrusted on him so suddenly, he claims he did not want a wife, a human wife at that but his actions... Oh his actions say otherwise.

Sita is lost and confused, taken from the only home she has ever known and is thrusted into a whole new world where she doesn't even know the fvkn language!! She picks the grumpy reserved orc knowing he would never in a million years want her.... ;) understand why I called them dumb yet? She's a fast learner and such a sweet character that just wants to help where she can!!!

It was written well, the world was built phenomenally, I really really loved the character development. I love a cozy romance where I, the reader, get a chance to just sit back and read a book focused on the characters and their relationship. It was bumpy and emotional but what Lyonne book isnt???
