I debating dnfing this the whole time I was reading it and I probably should’ve just done it. I’m gonna mention the things I liked first cause it’s a pretty short list. The small town Italian setting was fun. The dog was a cute touch that I enjoyed and I liked seeing the couple from book 1. Now onto things I didn’t like. There was no real relationship with any sort of depth at any point throughout this entire story. They had way too much of a will they won’t they for the dumbest reasons and that meant there wasn’t any tension build up, it was just an annoying back and forth. The age gap wasn’t executed well and the way it was talked about felt icky. And to top it all off they got found out with the brother overreacting for a relationship that didn’t even feel real. I skimmed the second half and really could not have cared less about how this book ended. So not a good time but I am going to continue this series to say at the very least that I finished it.
