White Noise by Don DeLillo

I'm honestly not sure what to say about this, besides that it affected me quite a bit. I usually don't understand most of the books that I read, but I feel more lost with this. It's honestly quite a problem because I can't tell if something I'm reading is just pretentiously obscure, or if I just lack the intellect to understand it.
The themes in this book are quite complex, and I still don't know where the author stands. However, I did thoroughly enjoy the language and writing employed in it. It's whimsical yet beautiful; each word is laced with wit and intelligence and delivered like punches of fresh air. This is something I definitely want to revisit some time in the future.
Might be the best book of 2022 so far (although that's too early to say)
