This definitely did not move in the direction I thought it was going to. I was hopeful for a happier ending than what we were given. I thought there would be a little more towards the end. That more secrets would be revealed and that perhaps Olivia would finally get a voice, but none of that happened and it felt like a bit of a letdown. The idea that there were dual Gallants, one in the real world, and one in Death's domain was interesting, but I felt like Death himself and the role he played just fell kind of flat.
