Sigh. Star Wars meets The Bodyguard (Kevin Costner, Whitney Houston). Bleah. The last third of the book, when things come to light, is much better.
I didn't expect much since Reaves isn't one of my favorite SW authors, but since it was co-authored, I thought it would be better - like his Medstar collaboration with Steve Perry.
One thing I do like is Reaves's droid characters, and Leebo in Shadow Games is cool.
