If We Ever Meet Again by Ana Huang
1.0

This book is told like “if he had been with me” where we know what is going to happen through the prologue. just not when it happens.

I usually love Anas books but this book had the cheating trop in it and on top of that gets his ex pregnant?!? (the girl he cheated with). AND to top it off When he goes to break up with his current girlfriend because of it, instead of telling her the truth he lies again?! because it’s what’s “best for her”.

The only slight “bright side” to this book is that he cry’s over having to break up with his current girlfriend. I like when authors humanize characters and their male characters actually have emotions instead of the usual nonchalantness.

But regardless of that automatically 1 star for the cheating trop alone. I feel like there was a bunch of different ways to incorporate the cheating trope that don’t involve the FMC getting back with the cheater.
