Vanessa Yu's Magical Paris Tea Shop
by Roselle Lim
This was a charming story with an obviously-coming-happily-ever-after. I enjoyed the family dynamics, Chinese lore, and the struggle to find one’s true passion and purpose in life. I also really liked the magical realism, which added to the whimsy of the book.
Overall, I think it was a bit too cutesy and tied-up-in-a-bow for my taste, but if you love adorable romance stories that end happily, this might be the one for you!
