Two Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese
5.0

"I never thought I could love someone so unlike me. That being so different from someone could make me feel right at home rather than every kind of wrong. But each moment I spent with you, every time we pretended, the strangest thing happened. It became real. Every way you were my opposite only made me want you more, every secret part of you that you entrusted to me only made me ache to trust you just as much. And then I realized that difference that I couldn't get enough of... that strange, perfect intensity between us... it was love, beyond anything I'd ever known. I fell in love with you so wildly, Bea. I love nothing in the world as much as I love you."

What's my type, you ask? James Benedict Westenberg.

I loved EVERYTHING about this book. Well, except for the VERY, very, very unnecessary third-act breakup. But it's okay. I forgive it. Also, the whole reason they needed to "pretend" to be in a relationship was so stupid. SO FUCKING STUPID omg. I really hated her sister because who's actually that goddamn pushy? But again, I forgive it. I guess I'll have to.

Jamie is everything. He's kind, sweet, thoughtful. He made four different soups for Bea even before they started dating so she could get her veggie intake without dying from the textural hell of veggies (relatable). He's sexy and a doctor and adopts geriatric cats and is so emotional and gentle in every way that counts. I LOVED his character. He's so down to earth and UGH. I loved it. The way he spoke to Bea, the way he cared for her and nurtured her needs, i could CRY he's so special.

Bea is also a pretty badass FMC. I loved her chapters, she was so enjoyable and her energy was addictive. I love when a FMC dishes out the same banter or equal want to the MMC. I hate when it feels onesided. But they definitely were not one sided. I could also relate to her a fuck ton, so there's that.

I really didn't expect this book to be so sweet. Like, it's an overdose of sweetness. They're just the perfect pairing honestly. From the synopsis, I really anticipated less cuteness than what I was given. I'm not mad at it at all. I loved loved loved this book
