Alan Watts' writing and his explanations reminded me so much of zen itself. He did a wonderful job of completely boggling my sense of direction whilst at the same time giving me clarity often lacking in many many other books on zen. Overall this was an in-depth and profound book on the history, definition, and way of Zen.
