Pageboy by Elliot Page

emotional inspiring slow-paced

2.5

I have a hard time reviewing memoirs, since so much of this book is just Elliot’s life. And while I absolutely loved reading his story and had some very inspiring moments while reading this, the non-linear structure and at times overly-flowery language made it difficult for me to get any kind of momentum with this book. I also think there is a lot of unaddressed and glossed over trauma here, and while that is Elliot’s to process for himself, it feels odd to have it just kind of dumped in this book.
