Disappointing Sequel
Found myself disappointed with the 2nd installment in the series.
I had expected a deeper plot development and expansive world building which were regrettably unmet.
While I still love Grey, the overall world-building feels remarkably shallow and underdeveloped.
And I would have loved to seen a stronger female character than Lia Mara to balance out Grey.
The narrative fails to evolve beyond the foundations laid in the first book, leaving a sense of unfulfilled potential.
Sad to leave a series which could've evolved into something richer and deeper than what we were given.
