Wow. This was such a tender and loving story. I could not put it down even though I was often on the verge of crying.

The love story is swoony but also realistic. If you are a reader who hates when one MC is with other people before getting together with MC2, this book will not be for you. There are some moments off page and on page (nothing too detailed but still) which might not be your cup of tea. I took it positively because it was a coping mechanism for one of the MCs (though the one moment at the ceremony could have been left out). And it made him realistic.

Ellis was such a sweetheart and I was happy for his HEA. He deserved it and more. The end is OTT and a bit too focused on the traditional way of a relationship but it is not something that I would mind.

Love the way the POVs and time skips complemented each other. The letters, pining, the hope. Everything was to die for.

My first book by the author and definitely not last.
