Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

BEFORE RE-READING

Going to re-read this book just to see how much difference is there between 15 year me and 17 year me.

AFTER RE-READING

If someone asked me about what would I like to say to my younger self then my answer would be - "I never expected such petty choices from you ". I really have no idea why I rated this book 5 stars. If I start making a list of everything wrong with this book then I would cross the word limits.

Let's start this book with a brief summary. A very brief summary -
* New girl
* Handsome boy
* Boy not available
* Boy has a freaking girlfriend yet he flirts continuously with the girl
* Girl and boy fall in love
* Happily ever after

Now I really dislike Anna. She was too annoying. One minute she was like Toph Toph Toph and another minute she was trying to decide if she liked Etienne or not (she does obviously). In the starting she's like, "Oh no!Etienne has a girlfriend? Meredith has a crush on him? Well we can't ever be a thing then. I won't betray Mer." But then guess what happens next?

Don't even get me started on Etienne. If I dislike Anna then I freaking hate him. Your mother has cancer? Aww so sad. Your father's am asshole? Umhmm. Such a sad life. Ahh yes let me tell you how to deal with your life-
* drink a lot
* tell Anna that you like her (and forget you have a girlfriend but whatever)
* vomit on your crush
Still not happy? Well then ask her to let you sleep (Nah not that sleep. Just the normal sleep with two teenagers, one bed-cuddling sleep) with her.
Well Etienne I'm really sorry to break the news to you but you are not the only one with parent problems. Like I get it your mom is dying and I get that you are sad but it doesn't mean you get the right to be a selfish asshole.

The only reason I gave this book 2 star was because of Paris.I really loved the way Paris was describing in this book. I wish I could go visit there atleast once in my life. I don't have a bucket list but if I did then visiting Paris would be the first thing I would like to do.
