From the very first page, I was hooked. The concept is so clever and it was done so well. I was worried it would come across as a bit “gimikey” but Liane Moriarty delivers it brilliantly. This was my first book from her, and I’d love to get into her catalogue.

Her writing style is exceptional. I felt deeply connected to the characters, rooting for every single one, and completely invested in their stories. Reading this felt like watching a movie play out in my head. It’s also unapologetically Australian, so many references that only Aussies will get.

We get to meet each passenger, explore their backstories, and see their lives beyond the plane ride. Every chapter moves the plot forward at just the right pace, and the epilogue? Absolutely unforgettable. This is the kind of book packed with life lessons — at least a hundred of them — without ever feeling heavy-handed.

I honestly can’t fault it. Brilliant from start to finish, and one I wholeheartedly recommend.
