The amount of times characters were introduced and given descriptions just to never be mentioned again;

the same exact phrasings were used (chapter 4: 'Raith growls-actually growls-before he flips me to my back with sickening ease'; Chapter 25: 'He growls—actually growls-and suddenly his hand is at the back of my neck');

the same exact conversations reoccurred (Nessa asking Raith why he's been avoiding her, Nessa denying liking Raith when her friends tease her, Nessa thinking Raith's 'scars should make him grotesque' yet he's still beautiful despite them);

and Nessa complained about being treated like a damsel in distress despite constantly needing to be saved.

This book would have been better had it not been so repetitive.
