I have no idea what was going on by the end of this book and rating it is tricky - it started as a 4 star but by the end more like 2.
I'm not religious myself so I think a lot of that was perhaps lost on me and I didn't understand Miriam's story at all. The dysfunctional family dynamics were interesting though.
