Night Cry by Borja González

I still have no idea what this story's about, but it's got sapphic content, fanzines, and weeaboos, so I'm already satisfied. The plot's a little too loosey-goosey and open to interpretation for my tastes - which is not exactly helped by the art style, where (they try! but) you could easily mistake one dark-haired girl for another - but I at least had fun forcing other people to read it and discuss with me what they think happened.
SpoilerFor what it's worth my best theory is the disappearing women in the city choose to be forgotten, and have run off to be in their girlboss coven, but I still have no answers for what happens to Laura and Matilda. Goddamn.

To be frank, this really would've just been a 3, maybe 3.5 star story if the art wasn't so unique and gorgeous. I adore how their moods and personalities are so well-conveyed even without faces - says a lot about how good the artist is at composition and showing body language!
