March Upcountry by John Ringo, David Weber
3.0
Weber is a master of world creation. However, I felt like I was riding through the jungle in real time. I was amazed that a space adventure could be so slow at times. Some of the conversations must be planned for seeds for the next book because they really went nowhere. Although long and dragging, you never really got to know any of the characters enough to worry about them. I think I would have like a bit more cleverness and using what they know to out think the foes than was done. I liked that Roger has begun to man up, but ugh. He was so annoying at the beginning. I might read the next book if I don't have any other books to read. Not my favorite.
