A Haunting in the Arctic by C.J. Cooke

I’m always here for a little female rage/revenge tale and I found that this book delivered! It’s super atmospheric and I was transported to this creepy shipwreck. I love how the different POV’s connected and I didn’t find the twists and turns too predictable. I also appreciate that the SA that occurs in the novel isn’t overly or needlessly graphic or gratuitous. Good character work on Cooke’s part is what helps the reader understand their trauma without having to experience every horrific detail of it with them.

It’s a pretty quick read (I did the audiobook in just a couple days) and a solidly atmospheric spooky mystery for the winter season!
