I'm unsure if I could write out a well thought review, one this book deserves... So I'll just say this for now {and try to remember to come back and put my thoughts down properly because this book deserves it} --- this book is so raw and so real.. it feels like a story that really happened to someone, and funny enough, in a lot of ways, it did... Too many similarities between my best friend Jason and I growing up (we have been best friends since 6th grade) and although we didn't get the HEA that I've dreamed of since then, it was a sweet reminder of the friendship and love we used to have for one another before he married his person. I'll never not be in love with that man and I only pray that his wife sees what an amazing man he is and never hurts him... Anyways, yeah, all the feels in this one. It may be frustrating and it may hurt for most of it, but it is exactly how a lot of us experienced our first love. It's not an easy read but it's absolutely worth it. I'm so thankful she added in Jamie's POV so we could see what he was thinking during everything going on. The amount of tabs I have in this book is absolutely insane lol This will absolutely always be one of my favorite romance books I've ever read but it's also why I don't read a lot of romance because I've never experienced love like in the books and it's all I've ever dreamed of and I'm just hoping, even at 38, my chance at a real and raw true love is still out there waiting for me 💀
