This lovely little book is an easy read guide of Maya Angelou and gives a snapshot to the timeline of her incredible life.
This book would be perfect for children wanting to learn about who she is and what she did for the Black community.
The illustrations are gorgeous and vibrant and the timeline at the back of the book is perfect. There is also a glossary at the back too, for any word that would be new to you, a nice touch.
I have one of her books on my to buy book list, and will be purchasing that very soon.
