Why in the world is this series not being talked about more? This second installment in the Glimmer Falls series was better than the first! To be honest, I held off on purchasing A Demon’s Guide to Wooing a Witch because I hated Astaroth in the first book and I’m leery of romances with characters-on-journey and amnesia tropes. I. Was. Wrong. Sarah Hawley made Astaroth one of the sweetest teddy bears. She paced out the characters-on-a-journey so well that I wasn’t distracted or bored. And the amnesia trope was handled well, too! Bravo, Sarah Hawley! Calladia was fantastic prickly character, and she complimented Astaroth perfectly. I also loved that the 3rd act conflict was not a miscommunication between the two MCs but instead was a conflict with a character outside the relationship. I can’t wait for the release of the third book in August!
