I had never read a book by John Green before this one, and I am so glad I started here. In Everything is Tuberculosis, you can tell how passionate the author is and why this book ended up having such a big impact on him. I will be the first to admit that I only know the bare minimum about Tuberculosis, and I don’t think about it a lot, or at least I didn’t until this book, and now I think about it all the time. Green shows how Tuberculosis could be stopped, but due to money and the money and research not being where it should be. Instead, it continues to spread in some countries despite them knowing how to cure it because of the lack of funds. This book is a reminder of how we have the cure for things, but the people with the money are not putting it towards what they should be, and instead go and buy another yacht. It also shows how so many things connect, and how things can snowball when you start investigating them.
