I really liked this collection. I really liked Amrou Al-Kadhi's piece "You Made Me Your Monster," and it makes me want to read their memoir. I really liked Amina's piece about the Mashrou' Leila concert in Egypt and all the anti-gay backlash from that. It was really beautifully written, but emotionally devastating. There were lots of stories that talked about people's trauma, but there were also positive stories.
