A Guide to Being Just Friends by Sophie Sullivan

4.0

There are a lot of things I loved about this book. It was an easy read that I couldn't put down. I appreciated the independence of both lead characters.

SpoilerMy one major critique is that the will-they-won't they lasted a bit too long in the "we aren't communicating our feelings" realm. Specifically, it was frustrating to see Hailey continuously call Wes's outings with Anna dates when he was very clear that they were not. And then she would get all upset about his 'not-dates', pass tons of judgment, and get mad at him. It seemed very childish and a bit out of character for her.
