I Accidentally Hooked Up with a Vampire by Jessica Cage
4.0
If you enjoy romance with good comedy and an adventure, this might be for you!
Whitney is a successful art broker who's let go from her job at the beginning of the story. To forget her woes, she hooks up with the handsome stranger she's met at the book release party of one of her bff's. Little does she know that from that point forward, her life will never be the same again.
The chemistry between Whitney and Domino is chef's kiss, as is the banter of Whitney's besties. This book reads like you're having an evening with your friends, catching up on all the crazy stuff that they've been doing. It all takes place in the same universe as the first book in this series (I Accidentally Summoned A Demon Boyfriend), and the main characters from the first book make an appearance. While you can read the book as a standalone, I can imagine that the cameos will be that much more fun if you've read the other book before.
I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a comedic paranormal romance with similar chaotic vibes as Kimberly Lemming's Mead Mishaps series.
