A Matter of Time, Vol. 2 by Mary Calmes

5.0

I really avoid books with cops and sometimes military 'cos its not my scene, this one and its prequel I just started reading without having read the preview. And believe me it was the smartest thing I've ever done 'cos I might have not picked it up, though being Mary Calmes book I'd prolly would have read it at some point... anyways I'm rambling.

This book continues to where the other left off and just when you think things will finally go well, and you like Sam once more, all hell breaks loose and let me tell you, Sam once more becomes the love to hate guy... until half way through :)

For me Sam should have done a lot more grovelling than he did but Jory is sooo in love with him he just couldn't resist for long.

I felt that some of the action could be left out from the book without it losing anything from the plot but Jory being who he is it'd be difficult to get the closure he feels he has to.

The sex scenes are PHENOMENAL, without them making this a pwp book but more like adding a bit more edge to it.

Thank you Mary Calmes for the great series ^^
