I have not been very impressed with the last couple of books I've read by Kiersten Modglin. This one was just boring to me. And the main character was incredibly annoying. The story is about this couple who returns to his family estate after his parents suddenly die in an "accident." Once they arrive, the truth starts coming out about his family. Then the main character's best friend comes to stay with them and questions arise about the nature of her relationship with the fiance. The twist is confusing and forced and not at all exciting. This was a definite miss for me.
